Power: Consciously Energize Your Life

Power: Conscious EnergyRecently I helped a client who felt like someone’s puppet, feeling disempowered and overwhelmed. An Akashic Records reading revealed she falsely believed she had to kowtow to the other person’s demands. While the controlling person did try to dictate my client’s behavior, once my client reconnected with her power to choose her own actions, she returned to herself and no longer felt like a puppet.

“Power: The capacity to act on your awareness with loving discernment.” You lose power when you believe you don’t have enough or you don’t remember how to access it. Empowerment begins with the seed of what you believe about yourself and your ability to take a stand. The capacity to act consciously in alignment with your heart, mind, and gut demonstrates personal as well as universal power.

“Utilize your resources to the fullest and create win-win experiences.” Stepping into your power means you have access to all the resources at your disposal. Authentic power benefits both you and all beings, thus triggering positive outcomes requiring less effort. Applied consciously, power spontaneously replenishes itself and energizes those around you as well.

Both saying no and saying yes consciously can empower you in relationships. Openly saying where your willingness lies unlocks additional energy to propel to toward what you want and away from what you don’t want. A preference for harmony over conflict may lead you to go along rather than overtly state what you want. In times of extreme stress you sometimes forget to check in with yourself at all. Returning to conscious choice re-energizes a sense of living on purpose, with purpose.

With Jin Shin Jyutsu® (JSJ) Japanese acupressure self-helps, you tap into universal power with Safety Energy Lock (SEL) 8 and personal empowerment via SEL 13. Apply self-help holds for 36 out-breaths and in-breaths, for a fixed length of time, or until they feel “done.”

How do you shift from disempowered to empowered? Does your power ever surprise you?

  1. Hi Christy, I look forward to your Monday morning posts – definitely food for the soul. Today, the phrase “A preference for harmony over conflict” resonated with me. I like to joke that I’m the classic Libra, but in reality, I’m not comfortable in emotionally charged situations and prefer to walk away. But sometimes, that just escalates the conflict.

    Thanks for another thought-provoking post.

    • Hi Joanne,
Thanks for your feedback, I love knowing my words are being read and “heard.” Generally conflict seems like a waste of time and energy to me although clearly many other people don’t share my perspective! I guess it’s not surprising I selected a healing art focused on harmony. 😉

You’re welcome! Thanks for your continued interest and participation.
      Warm regards,
      Christy
