“Love: The essence of contentment and the foundation of serenity.” According to Jin Shin Jyutsu® Japanese acupressure, all disharmonies arise from fear. Fear cannot co-exist with contentment, serenity, or harmony. I often hear “Love conquers fear.” While this adage makes intuitive sense, the roadmap to love seems elusive. As you deepen your awareness you can choose not to fear your fear, get saddened by your grief, or become mad at your anger. Acceptance, a precursor to love, means you make peace with the present. The more you can acknowledge life gets hard sometimes, the more room you open for giving and receiving life’s deliciousness. Less resistance means more love flows.
“Love is the activation of your spirit reaching out to make connections.” Your spirit energizes with inner and outer connections. Love wants to expand, to increase both inside and out, to liberate you from your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual bondage. When you yield to love’s natural tendency for expansion, you dilute whatever difficulties you face and allow space for creative solutions to surface. Loving connections to yourself and others illuminate how to move through life’s challenges with more ease and grace.
“It overcomes grief, harbors no ill will, and heals all separation.” Grief, the unwillingness to forgive, and alienation all come from fear. To overcome grief, you must learn to love life again and to tolerate uncertainty as part of your human experience. To forgive you must release the fear of it costing more to release your pain than to keep it. Overcoming separation means you must tame your fear of vulnerability to reconnect to the vast resource of infinite love available to all. Love makes it worth it.
How do you peacefully co-exist with your love and fear? Who and what supports you living from a loving place?
